« on: May 10, 2010, 09:36:38 PM »
I am sitting on a pile of telephone directories and feel it is time to upgrade but cannot find an online store that sells Zafus and Zabutons that ships from Europe  ???

Instead of sitting on the directories look for a supplier in them :D :D :D :D :D#

Or try ebay:

About £50 delivered in the UK .. will be a bit more to Europe. I recommend Samadhi cushions Gomden and Zabuton sets but they're expensive-ish at $129 plus postage from the US:

Good for putting the pelvis and back in a good position and reducing stress on knees.

Thanks for the links !

The cushions from Samadhi Cushions looked really nice and I will probably go for a set from them.
Yes, they are a bit expensive but buying a nice set is a sort of statement that this is something I am going to continue doing for the rest of my life.
I just started working again from being unemployed for a few months and I have been too exhausted to sit for some days but yesterday In sat for an hour and afterwards I felt so happy and refreshed and really, really glad and thankful for having found my way to meditation.
I can honestly say that it is the single best thing that happened to me in my life and I will honour my practice with a really nice set of Zafu and Zabuton   :)

You know Matthew, I actually brought my directories with me to the 10 day course and have been sitting on them for almost 300 hours so do not make a joke about them  ;D

As for the Cadillac, convivum, a bit unorthodox but why not . will not fit in my flat though.

Again, I am so glad I am doing this (meditation) and I could never have imagined what tremendous change it can bring to life.

zen companies and monasteries seems to make the nicest zafus/zabutons
maybe because they are rooted in japan. i haven't sat on one from this company:

i like really small, light zafus... but i have this one:

i want to make or buy a small travel waterproof one like this:

maybe make it all waterproof somehow...
