On how to focus awareness while not straining your head and putting what feels like a knot in your brain, I am aware and see clearly so im doing one part right but im doing another part wrong with the strained head

The key is balance. You can't force or hack balance, you feel/experience/practice your way towards it. Like riding a bicycle...

Maybe part of you is trying to hard?
