Hello, new to the forum, have been meditating and practicing Mindfulness  now since having read Full Catastrophe  Living a few years ago. I am new, if you can believe it to Smart Phones. I am looking for a true free Meditation App that would include guided meditations and possibly relaxation sounds. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Frustrated with downloading so called free apps and once you've  opened it there is try me free for 7 days and then only 29.95 a month.

Bstill,

Apps are crap. You have to sit in silence with your own being. Anything else is hiding from the truth.

There are several different length meditation times free here on the site. They all start with three gongs, and end with three gongs, with pure silence to see yourself in between. All are mp3 files zipped up, so can be unzipped then played through your smartphone music player.

You'll find them here: https://www.vipassanaforum.net/forum/index.php?topic=2148.msg22212#msg22212
