Need more lists of Meditation Music
« on: November 21, 2019, 07:47:11 AM »
Hi there!

While practicing meditation, I did some research about different techniques on how to improve self-meditation. Listening to calm and healing music is one of the effective techniques to calm your mind and body, it also promotes relaxation that will help you to reduce your anxiety and stress.

Here are some of the lists that I have found during my research.

Sounds of Surrender

Sounds of Source

Sounds Of Receiving

Sounds of Fulfillment

Sounds of Transformation

Most Relaxing and Calming Meditation Music

And I would be glad if you could also share some music for meditation especially that could help me sleep better.

Thank you!  :)

I have moved this to the meditation audio and video section of "The Library".

In general, music is not conducive to inner-directed development of calm. It can play a part in helping people to relax - and for this reason, as a crutch in early days, it may benefit some highly anxious practitioners.

As with all crutches, eventually one has to learn to put them aside, and ride the journey of discovering the things that disturb calm without distractions such as music: only by gaining insight into the rising and falling of disturbances and distractions can those things be progressively cut off at the root, rather than being hidden from.

Ysa@29 - you might want to search the forum for "sleep" "insomnia" etc to gain the benefit of other's experiences in conquering your own sleep issues.
