Images while meditating?
« on: May 21, 2019, 01:10:02 AM »
Sounds crazy but here goes...

A couple of years ago, I had an occasion while meditating where I felt as if I saw a woman looking down on me smiling. She had a white gown and one of those crowns made of grasses or green leaves...reminded me of old Greek outfit. I was shocked and it came out of nowhere.

Another time, I saw various geometric shapes and the colors blue and gold were somehow very apparent.

I just wondered if anyone else had this experience and what it might mean if anything? I have thought about these events often and I meditate nearly every day now and nothing like that happens anymore.

Let it go and don't bother about it.

These 2 you mentioned,1.  can be random thoughts, 2, nimittas which mean signs.

But since they had passed, no point pondering about them. Does not contribute to the progress of your meditation.
