Dear Friends,

Today I upgraded the forum software and made a few other changes to the site. If you notice anything unusual happening then please let me know.

Some time soon there will be a major upgrade to a new version of the forum software. When I do this I may be integrating the forum with a piece of software called a "Content Management System" that would allow us to extend the site beyond being a forum - for example we could have personal blogs, more extended profiles, articles and many other possibilities. Before I do any such thing I am interested to know if there is any appetite for it or not.

Sounds great, Matthew.

Are there any sites out there already using the proposed CMS that we could have a look at?

Dave,

I'm looking at using Joomla which is incredibly powerful and flexible. I will try and find a suitable Joomla based community as an example.
