Motivation - Learning anything in 20 Hours
« on: December 12, 2016, 09:30:43 AM »
I wanted to share a video I cam across a while back that really changed my perspective and helped get rid of the failure complex.  Prior to January of 2015 it was always a struggle to learn something new, giving up was really easy because I didn't know how to measure progress.  I was also too busy resting on my laurels content with not progressing (I had my cheese :)).  I was always looking into Mind hacking and Jedi mind tricks and finding the shortcuts etc.  Then I stumbled across this video.  It was really motivational, not because he can play the ukulele, but more for the intellectual understanding that our brains take time to learn, adapt and to realize value.

Since watching this video, I have re-ignited my natural curiosity to learn new things, playing instruments, coding, new fitness routines, and most recently meditation.  Hope this helps others :)

- Be happy :)

Thank you for sharing this! Thank you! That emotional barrier--I try not to let it get in my way, but I've probably succumbed more than I let myself believe. Hoping meditation will assuage the emotional barriers!
