My first 10 day course! YAY!!
« on: December 01, 2016, 08:12:59 AM »
This is a write up of my experiences of Vipassana meditation to share with others what my perceptions were, what the outcome was and the techniques I used to get there.  I was so nervous, anxious, scared, etc to spend 10 days inside my own head.  I actually wanted to leave days 1 - 5 but forced myself to stay.  Day 10, I didn't want the course to end.  It was truly life changing.

I thought it might be beneficial to write up the things that I wish I was told or to think about during the course in advance to get even more out of the course and afterwards be able to practice daily with ease.  The First day is really detailed just the paint the picture of how grueling this experience can be, however each subsequent day is focused more on the insights or breakthroughs that I experienced during the course.

I am a newbie/novice to this technique so please feel free to correct me if there are is any misinformation or incorrect information.  My goal is to be at accurate as possible with both the technique and my own perceptions.

May you benefit from my experience and Be Happy ☺

Welcome beHappy :)

Excellent thread !
And such generosity. In providing a 20 page diary of your
vipassana experiences.    You may think that the main
beneficiary of your journalling is yourself....
But ..  i'm going to read it cover to cover :-)

be happy...  behappy123 :)

Thanks to all who have read this.  I hope it helps and I have to sincerely apologize for the grammatical mistakes  :(

I've been reading over this trying to edit and correct them as I find them.  I'll be posting a better copy in the next couple weeks  Again my apologies and I hope you're able to overlook them and apply what works for you in your own meditations  :)

-Be Happy  :)
