Forum Closing for Maintenance
« on: December 27, 2015, 05:37:35 AM »
The forum software and database need a bit of housekeeping undertaken. The site will close for around 12 - 24 hours on either Monday or Tuesday this week.

Thanks,

Matthew

Spent the day chewing my legs off to the knees whilst failing to update the forum. :)

A big thanks to Clayton for his help in getting things working again. If you spot anything out of the ordinary let me know and we'll get it fixed.

Thanks DT,

After eight years of upgrades the database and PHP was completely messed up as many former modifaction packages had been incorporated into the core forum software. Between Clayton and myself we completely reinstalled everything and cleaned up the database.

I'm not sure on the colour scheme .... blue tends to lead to intellectualising .. but it's growing on me.

Maybe some soft red? Could either lead to more compassion, or anger. I`m sure more compassion tho!

Thanks for all the help Clayton :)

Red is linked to exactly those emotional states: it is the colour of connection; in wholesome manifestation love and compassion; in unwholesome manifestation attachment, clinging, anger.

The old scheme of Orange/Brown is "Ratna" in Tibetan colour theory which stands for richness/earth/groundedness.

Yeah, i liked the old one. It was unusual and it was fitting my fox avatar  :D And somehow it felt quiet. But this one will work too haha
Now Matthews pic looks perfect!

But hey, maybe this is a good moment to practice non-clinging  ;D

Thank you both for the work anyways!

Matthew,

There used to be a page up button at the bottom beside page numbers. Any chance of bringing it back?

Kind regards,
