Solitary Retreat
« on: December 29, 2014, 09:11:00 PM »
Anyone have any experience of a good place to go for a solo retreat in the UK?

I've been looking around am of the opinion it's best to go on a recommendation...

Probably 7-10 days should do it!

Thanks

Matthew

Try emailing the guest monk at Amaravati Alexander - they may be able to facilitate this with daily visits from a member if the ordained Sangha or just deliver food - alternatively if Devon isn't too far out of your way The Barn at Sharpham have a kuti for solos and you'll be pretty much left alone with daily food drops - it's usually booked well in advance though but definitely a good spot if you can get in.
