"I Want Happiness" Disappearing Ink Mug
« on: November 27, 2014, 07:56:37 PM »
There's a common Buddha misquote, best represented comically here:

A man said to the Buddha, “I want Happiness.” Buddha said, first remove “I”, that’s ego, then remove “want”, that’s desire. See now you are left with only Happiness.

Anyways, I posted this idea on reddit and someone suggested I post here too. I was planning on making these custom mugs for a few friends, where upon hot liquid, "I" and "Want" disappear, leaving only happiness :)

But since it is so darn expensive, it looks like I need to order these in bulk to make it a reality. If you all might be interested, please let me know! I whipped up a website with a email signup: (Website link removed)

Cheers yall, happy thanksgiving!

Oh hey, also, I forgot to mention I've been messing around with some minimalist meditation audio: (Website link removed)

I have found that I enjoy a few minutes of audio for concentration, and then I can move into a more Dzogchen style after I have been sitting for a few minutes.

I'm having fun messing around with various specific track need, so if anyone has any requests I'll make something for you!
