That will be a good motivator. Well done for keeping to your schedule.

15 min meditation and cold-showers. I reminded myself in the beginning of the purpose of the meditation. There were times I felt self convoys because of the fact that I was in a office.

I forgot to write down in my journal sometimes. I dont think i missed the session which I wrote above. I had an interesting realization in last weeks class of "mindfulness of thinking". A large part of what I do is driven by fear.

Good to have seen this. Practice can only improve with such insights.

I listen to Gil's talks all the time  :) What's the experience like in person? I can never decide how busy his talks are

Its really busy. The first few months, I didnt go to his class but another class taught by one of his disciples. It was pretty good. I wish they had continuing classses.

After the class ended I started going to his talks. His sunday talks probably have maybe 100 people. For example today I was a bit late and arrived just in time. i was sitting way back, and the noise made by 100 people in a closed area is surprisingly loud. I couldnt hear most of what he said lol.

Have been pretty regular in my meditations. I will post the log soon.

Yeah.. writing the journal is definitely a habit. i have been working on doing this regularly, and adding on other positive habits for a while now. So I am familiar on how to create and sustain habits. perhaps thats why I was able to  meditate and write in my journal regularly. I dont write long entries. Just short entries on how it went.

The comments on journaling and practice i made on Attachless' thread have relevance to the habit aspect and it's use.
