Practice leads where...
« on: August 30, 2008, 05:59:04 PM »
I'm feeling (and heard) that as one progresses in practice, one understands in a more experiential level what one heard (or read) about before.
What would happen if one had the chance to go throw different spiritual paths at the same time?!
Would one experience different truths or the same though with different names? And what would happen in the end?
Is the feeling of self-realization the same in every religion? Or are there different goals?

This may seem too out there, but it seems logical to me that we can't even comprehend the infinite nature of time and space.  There is enough time for us to have acted out every choice we have every made or even thought of.  Time disappears on a quantum level.  I believe when have turned every left and every right, done every "good" thing and every "bad" thing we have every thought of an infinite number of times already.

So, I believe we have already taken every spiritual path, we are all on multiple paths and every spiritual path has been "right" in that given reality.  Who are we to judge?  All the more reason just to sit and notice...

You would just get in a mess. Stick to one recipe or, like Rachel from Friends, you will end up making trifle with beef in it !
