Meditation and emotional blockage question.

So when i doing Mindfulness meditation i can't stand it easily because i feel an emotional blockage in my gut area. There is no problem to disidentify from a thoughts and just observe but i can't do that with this emotion because it's really strong (When i got emotional trauma it was burning in stomach, nausea, some problems with skin. And then, after couple of weeks it's reduced and become just heavy and not much painful sensation).

So what to to with that?

Breathe into it, relax and give it space to express itself. if srong emotion arises honour it by listening and maintain a little distance through equanimity. time is a great healer.
