Introducing Mindfulness/Meditation

What's the best way to introduce mindfulness and/or meditation to someone who has never practice either before? (My wife)

I think it might be a good stress reducer for her.

Using the core of the practice part of this as a foundation I taught meditation to students and staff at the local university for two years, primarily for stress reduction. It was highly successful and attracted people of every faith and those of no faith.
