@Irfan, is there any particular Jon Kabat Zinn book that you might recommend?

The book I've been reading is "The Mindful Way through Depression: Freeing Yourself from Chronic Unhappiness"

http://www.amazon.com/Mindful-Way-through-Depression-Unhappiness/dp/1593851286

Jon Kabat Zinn is actually listed as a co-author, rather than the sole author. Even though it sounds like it's aimed at people suffering clinical depression, it's actually relevant to anyone. Even though I haven't read it yet, I also have "Full Catastrophe Living", which is written by Jon Kabat Zinn alone. This one seems to get the best reviews of his books. Both are available on kindle, if you have one.

Excellent. Thank You my friend. I'm going to watch his talk at Google in the morning also to get to know him better.

Peace.

Irfan

Well I did it, however spontaneous. I locked myself out of the house by mistake. Not as daunting as I expected it to be, bodily sensations were common because of the soft breeze and slight cold in the air. Interesting to note the fright (trembling, heat) when a bird flies out of the nest it's built in the gutters. Maybe I'll lock myself out again tomorrow! Or just wait a while, go by choice, be mindful and remember to bring a key.

I don't think there is any 'time' you need to wait, you should sit outdoors and meditate when you think you are able to.

You might not want new students sitting outdoors because they'll get easily distracted but once you become more experienced and comfortable it is actually extremely enjoyable to sit outdoors and meditate in a field or over a lookout. I find it to be very refreshing and awakening.

If you have any more questions don't be afraid to send me a PM.

Best of Wishes, Luca.
