DIPA MA IMC
« on: December 05, 2011, 05:16:42 PM »
I would like to know if anyone here has practised in the tradition of Sayaji Uba Khin by Dipa Ma. I am attending a retreat in few weeks time and would like some information if possible.

Thank You

Hi Sylvia, if it is related to IMC, then I think we have had discussion related to it long time back. Can you do a search in the forums? You should be getting some relevant information. Let us know if you don't.
Let's go beyond this illusion, shall we?

Hi Sylvia,

no, I didn't, but I am really curious to hear about your retreat (especially compared to Goenka retreats).
Since you decided to go on this retreat, maybe it's better not to do research as this will build up expectations (and expectations often lead to frustration in the end, as we all know  ;) ). I'd simply go there, experience it, and afterwards it might be nice to do some research ... but maybe there won't be need for research anymore ...

 :) Enjoy it & Metta,

Stefan

Vivek, I do not recall having this conversation.. I made the decision to go this retreat recently.

I totally agree that the information is not necessary. reason for this curiosity is that I have difficult observing sensations from head to toe and am trying to understand if the this teaching using similar method.

Sylvia - just search the forum for IMC and you will find a number of discussions related to this issue that have taken place.

Be well,

I guess that Vivek meant "the forum" when he said "we".  ;)
