Content to Burn

That burning ache in the middle of my chest has always seemingly been there. I always shunned it, read it as a sign of needing to change something, get something, avoid something etc, but now, after 10 months of sitting and considering daily the dhamma, I'm content to let it burn.

This thread on dharmaovergorund sparked the acceptance of it as a practice.

I'm still happy, but the happiness is now a contentment, let it burn, let it out into the awareness without judgement, without reaction, do what is obvious to do (be as unselfish as can be mustered) and let it burn.
