TMO's flying geckos
« on: July 05, 2011, 08:08:22 PM »
So ... this is a thread of supreme interest ...
TMO's amazing flying geckos .... you remember ...

The Marvellous Omannobazong!!!, seated on his hovering cushion (silver!!), encircled by his three amazing flying geckos,  racing with warp speed towards Nirwanaland!

the speed is the reason why I never managed to pic them in the air ...
on the second pic you can see the flying skins between his fingers, and he has also skins underside, they pop up passively when he jumps (like a parachute) ...
third pic: go ahead, spot him! you'll never see him in rain forest, even if you passed by very close ... they won't move, pretending to be part of the tree ...

AND they have sex half the year ... disturbing my sleep with sounds you NEVER heard before ....

Fascinating creatures, great shots. The third one gives an idea for a tactic of defeating sneakiness in the bush: take a picture and then look for reflections of the camera flash in animals` eyes in it. ;D
The summer river:
although there is a bridge, my horse
goes through the water.

I work in a Local Pet Shop. I sell and keep animals. Learned alot about them. Have seen many who died. There is this question bogging me.
Where does this need for keeping caged animals come from. I mean animals Not used for food.

Lovely animals :)
