Meditation Actually on Vipassanaforum
« on: March 04, 2011, 05:15:38 PM »
Hallo friends!

I thought to share my practice with you via video hoping it might help beginners. Sometimes written words just dont make sense and meditation is a practical thing. Such interaction might "SOFTEN" the beginner meditator a little. Stiff start is always hard dont you think  :)

This is how Che does it  8) :D  (excuse the cat)

Practical Meditation for beginners on Vipassanaforum.net

I might write a few words about my personal practice later on to support the video.

EDIT; Here is another video to assist those just starting to meditate and who feel that they need to meditate with someone else and just cant do it on their own :) this is to be taken just as an encouragement and one will at some stage meditate on its own, because mediation is and always will be something one does Alone (not lonely) even if surrounded by others :)
This meditation lasts for only 13 minutes which is enough for those having troubles keeping their daily sitting active. Notice! there is a mindfulness bell in the middle of the sitting after approx 7 minutes, so use it to re-establish your mindfulness/ awareness of the whole body breathing.
For those willing to meditate this way for longer time please PM me or write in this thread and I will make a longer video with or without mindfulness bells during the session.
(NOTE; put the volume down to avoid this shhhhhh sound, the bells are on LOUD so you will hear them anyway) :)

As always friendly

Happy you like it lads  ;D

I am preparing me little self to do a 15 minutes calm-abiding sitting for the ones who feel they need to sit with "someone else" in accordance to get the practice going so to form a solid discipline. My wife gave this idea because she JUST CANT make her self sit down without me joining her, so I thought there must such members out there or in here feeling the same.
I think 15 minutes is lots for a beginner and the youtube channel doesn't allow for longer videos, sorry.

I uploaded another video into the first post. It lasts for only 13 minutes and is for those finding it hard to meditate on their own. Check it out and see if it suits you at this time in life :)
