Let's Get Lost - Tina Dico
« Reply #50 on: August 25, 2011, 06:09:57 PM »
I feel this macho image in me is melting away. I cry easily lately. Tina's songs simply melt the ice around my heart. Put a pair of tits on me and Im a crying woman (no disrespect meant here, it is only that women have less issues with machoism).

Tina Dico - Let's Get Lost

There’s nothing like doubt tearing your mind
To leave you muddled up and blind
There’s nothing like fear riding your soul
To leave you stone cold
There’s nothing like rain falling in the night
From a vast hidden height
Falling like tears from the dark sky’s lonely eye

There’s nothing like heat biting your skin
To let you boil from within
There’s nothing like sweat dripping down your sides
 Gleaming nights
There’s nothing like flames licking in the air
Hungry, without a care
Licking like tongues, here and there
and everywhere

Let’s get lost
Let these frozen hearts defrost
Whatever the cost, let’s get lost
Let’s get lost
Roll the dice and play our cards
Whatever the cost
 Let’s get lost

There’s nothing like hopes taken to the test
To the edge of more or less
There’s nothing like truth cutting to the bone
To leave you overthrown
There’s nothing like hearts breaking in two
As only trusting hearts can do
Breaking like glass, frail and new
What else can we do

Let’s get lost
Let these frozen hearts defrost
Whatever the cost, let’s get lost
Let’s get lost
Roll the dice and play our cards
Whatever the cost
 Let’s get lost

In too deep
 Already we're in too deep
Feels good to be in too deep

 :)

What is it that captivates us when it comes to really good music? Is it some unexplained magic within the notes? Resonating with the composer`s state of mind or the interpreter`s expression of an emotion that has been lurking within us for ages?

And do we have the clarity to retain the courage of watching ourselves being held captivated? :)

Not knowing is ok, recognizing not knowing is great, accepting not knowing is awesome.  ;D

[...]accepting not knowing is awesome.  ;D
that is so true. when you realize, how the mind-machine starts spinning, as soon as theres that feeling of not knowing - realizing this process makes life so much more relaxed.

Be well boys and girls =)

Slightly off-topic, my first ever sound "composition". :D Wish they had woodpecker sounds in there too.

Would I want her for her mind or her heavenly body?
