I can't say enough good things about this site:
"The Insight Meditation Center (IMC) is a community-based urban meditation center for the practice of Vipassana or Insight meditation. We are a non-residential center in Redwood City, California, dedicated to the study and practice of Buddhist teachings"
There are six years worth of dharma talks from a virtual who's who in the Buddhist community from that area.  Gil Fronsdal has been recording his and many other speakers/teachers' talks on a totally free website.  For me, when I'm feeling low or just want to connect up, I can play a dharma talk as I'm puttering around cleaning, sit quietly and listening, or I can even follow a guided meditation.  In our fast paced world this is the easiest way to get a quick dose of calm and focus.  This site has been one of the strongest links in my developing path even though I live 3000 miles away from the center.
The best type of meditation is the one that you'll do
