Vipassana and the natural sciences
« on: December 21, 2007, 12:18:45 AM »
Hello friends,

I wonder if anyone has come across any reports online in which vipassana meditation is studied from a natural science viewpoint? I guess possible approaches could be neurological, biochemical, quantum physical and so on. Any input would be much welcome!

(Please note that I am not very interested in psychological studies of vipassana, which are easy to find for instance at the VRI.)

Peace
Anders.

I wouldn't trust that much on VRI(Vipassana Research Institute) because it may very naturally be biased. At least it seems biased to me.
I would search on http://scholar.google.com for Vipassana and then see what happens.
I've searched it and found some interesting stuff...
