Instead of just sitting on cushion, I am taking 3 months leave from everything, except work (lol), to abstain from any residual grasping or habits and face aversions. I believe this is the way to experience the push and pull of energy and develop equanimity for the discomfort that we typically react without sensing their presence.

I believe accelerated practice is to meditate and practice dhamma at the same time. I will sign off on Saturday.

It has worked great for me with respect to quitting red wine (even though it was only a small glass), Internet in general, and just general wordly entertainment like radio, CD, and TV.
