Calm down, have a laugh

There's a lot of [amazonsearch]spiritual books [/amazonsearch]that are a [amazonsearch]great help for the serious meditator[/amazonsearch].
But do you know those times when you are fed up with even [amazonsearch]the wisest words of truth[/amazonsearch]? Ever meditated so hard that you needed a timeout to [amazonsearch]come back to earth[/amazonsearch]? You [amazonsearch]take a walk rather than sit[/amazonsearch] again, you have a chocolate instead of an apple, you go dancing instead of the weekly sangha-meeting ... and in the evening, you like to read, but not all those wise books you normally enjoy so much!
Then it's a nice idea to read a book by [amazonsearch]Terry Pratchett[/amazonsearch]. Very funny and intelligent, and beyond his humor you can find [amazonsearch]simple truth[/amazonsearch] that is sooo helpful in times when you [amazonsearch]take enlightenment too seriously[/amazonsearch].

Does humor belong in meditation? - YES!
