Mastering the Core Teachings of The Buddha
« on: Monday 16 March 2009, 02:28 PM »
This book was written by a medical doctor from the U.S.,
he practiced in the tradition of the late Venerable Mahasi Sayadaw from Burma.

The book is available freely from his website http://www.interactivebuddha.com/mctb.shtml

I have found this book highly beneficial for practice, and it also bridges the gaps between all traditions and all maps of the progress of insight known in Buddhist doctorines.

I wish that others benefit from this book and continue to as I do and have.

This is a great download, especially if one is interested in the Kabbalah.
For more such charts, see Aleister Crowley's 'Liber 777'

saw this on a link in e-sangha before, didn't give it much attention because of the other members saying one shouldnt call himself an arahat, with the tone thus i shouldnt believe that book.

i gave it another look when i experienced freaky&weird stuff for the first time and had nowhere to turn for questions.
i found it the most useful tool and have benefited from it greatly. If I did not read the book, I may have not have been fortunate enough to benefit from the Dhamma as much as I have: both on and off the cushion.
