The Heart of Buddhist Meditation: Satipatthna: A Handbook of Mental Training Based on the Buddha's Way of Mindfulness.
The Heart of Buddhist Meditation by [amazonsearch]Nyanaponika Thera[/amazonsearch]. This is a very thorough book written in quite a scientific style. Its not easy reading, but its thoroughness and the depth of the knowledge to be gleaned from it makes it well worth reading. Another book to keep on the bedside table!
