A Gradual Awakening by Stephen Levine
A wonderful book made from the discourses of Levine during a 1-month meditation retreat. Although the subject is Buddhist meditation, he ties a lot of the ideas in with the Tao and Native American Spirituality too. I found this book inspiring and refreshing.

Hey, thanks for the suggestion.
I've really enjoyed listening to Stephen's son Noah's lectures, and he talks of his father's teachings on occasion. He clearly learned a lot from his father... I'll definitely check out his book.
