Unfortunately I have practiced little. I hope to really get my practice going this time around. I'm trying to scrape together enough motivation to meditate. I think soon I will have enough scraps of motivation to give it a go.
Yes, the sitting practice is the actual important part not the reading I started a Shamatha journal on this forum to help me keep a consistant daily practice which it did for the last 10-11 month. Daily practice is the key. There is no much to it by doing it or rather letting go into it The practice of Calm-abiding is a very good starting point to relax into the body.
