Dusko, can I share the beautiful recitation the Buddha Jaya Mangala gatha here? I listened to this just before I was being taken to the operation theatre and it gave me a sense of security and protection. I love how this describes the defeat of the enemy through self-control, compassion, grace, wisdon and patience.
