Prison

At the edge of the bed
Sitting, looking down
Remembering thoughts
Flying amongst clouds

Shy smile showing
On the face two dots
Nothing to say
Nothing to hide

It was
It is
It will be
Time is a prison

What is the sound of a gun
if there is no one there
to pull the trigger?

What are the verses of a poem
if there is no one there
to write them down?

A poem about the wind
is like the shadow of the tree.
They will never match each other`s beauty.
The summer river:
although there is a bridge, my horse
goes through the water.

Nocturne

Pitch black dark
Spotted with stars
The sky is

Cold wind caressing
The skin shivers
Feet gone cold

Sounds in the night
Nocturnal drama unfoliding
To disapear in the coming of dawn

Fools hope

Lost in dark corridors
No ground under the feet
In thin air hanging by a thread
Like a puppet without a puppetier

Cold bricks on both sides
Labirynth like walls sweathing
Shadows of those before me
Flying in harmonious disorder

Dead is this world of lost
Moisty odor fills the sense
Cold rot is eating the flesh
Bones stepping out for the final act.

Is there light to shine bright
Is there fire to warm up
Is there a friend to give a hand
Or is it all ... just a fools hope?

Sotapanna

Climbing up
Higher and higher
The stairways to heaven
Looking down
Clear panoramic view
Like a flower blossom
The Path opening
Before the eye unfolding
Descending down
From the lips
Of Gautama The Buddha
Letting go of the ladder
Returning to the ground
To walk
The ancient Way

The Self

The sense of "I"
is no more
but a handful of sand
in the human eye.

Phenomena

In the wave-like fashion
Oscillating
Between the realms
Of Devas and Hell-beings
Dhammas solidify
Into formations
Bound to pass away
Into re-birth.
So many waves
Make an Ocean.

Wake Up Urban Human

Life is passing you by
Urban Human
With each
Spring
Summer
Fall
and
Winter
While staring at your watch.

Passing by the life is
Do you hear Urban Human
While imprisoned
In between walls
You are deaf
To the song of a Nightingale.

Feet walking on asphalt
Instead of green grass
Covered with morning dew
Hey Urban Human
Looking at the life
Through TV screen
Killing time
For the sake of boredom.

Life is passing away
Urban Human
With each breath you take
Not Silver nor Gold
Nor tick castle walls
Can stop the Death
From taking away
What Impermanent is.

Hey Urban Human
Living a fancy life
Life behind masks
And fake smiles
Behind suits and ties
Behind colorful makeups
Behind titles so sweet
Wasting a precious life
Of a Human kind.

Wake up Urban Human
Before death takes you away
Wake up!
Stop running away from your true nature
By placing continuously concrete and tarmac
On top of the very soil which feeds us all.

Sailing the Waters of Samsara

The whole Universe
Both Heaven & Hell
Ruled by the Karmic Wheel
Of becoming & dying.

The whole of Creation
Up and down
And all around
Is within the grasp of Anicca.

What is created
Is subject to rot
To disintergration
To dependent origination.

Whispering "there is a Self"
Or "there is Non-self"
Whispering "there is a Soul"
Or "there is No Soul"
Still echoes so Loudly
Because the Truth
Is far too subtle
To Be.

It seems overwhelming
The idea of liberation is
For such a tiny being
Sailing alone this vast
Ocean of Samsara
On the Dhammic raft.

Pissing against a tree, leg cocked.
Like a little dog, mind locked.
Having done his messy business.
Not able to face, his ruthlessness.
The meditator must run, run run.
To be sure his mind does not see the sun.

It could be so different, be sure.
Truth, hope and opening to the fore.
Humility born of knowledge gained.
Through right effort, mindfulness and no shame.
Let's see what happens to this hungry ghost.
When he realises he's on the ground, not lost.

Violets are blue
Roses are red
After my sitting
I'm going to bed
Meditation makes me angry...
