Thanks Chintan... went through the link... realised havnt done much reading or have little intellectual understanding of the experiences...the teachers dont discuss all this in the courses right??
Have just attended the retreats and tried following the instructions sincerely...practised that way till the next retreat... feel DUH DUH DUH!

Niza, this is the right way to practice.
Additional reading may be helpful so the ego/ mind doesn't get too upset. Discussing the experiences is of help, too. So it is encouraged to open a book or two.
But much better to do practice without reading than to do reading without practice.
